Collectivo has become more than a networking group, it has become a family. As with each family tree, there are branches that form over time. One of those branches has formed into our Latino Blogger’s Workshop. Over the last two years we have trained dozens of bloggers to become influencers in their respective fields.
There have been several other branches that found value in Collectivo. From Latino entrepreneurs, insurance agents, real estate experts and others, our audience has grown very diverse. But now, we – the Collectivo board – have decided to focus back to our core audience: Hispanic Marketing and Communications professionals. That’s why we are moving to a new model for new events: invite only. This model will assure we target the right audience and provide an enhanced networking opportunity for Marketers, Journalists, Public Relations Professionals, Social Media Specialists, Web Developers, Graphic Designers and other Creatives interested in the Hispanic Market.
With this change, we are also opening up our events to more dialogue. Expect more interactive presentations and panel discussions. Audience members will be part of the discussion and we turn to you, the experts to teach us as much as we prepare to teach you. It’s a night of networking free of sales pitches or agendas.
Our next event will feature a heated discussion on Cultural Appreciation vs. Appropriation. Again, this event will be invite only, but if you feel you should be invited to the party, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Remember, Collectivo events are always free, educational and have free drinks and food. To keep our events free, we rely on sponsors, so if you are interested in sponsoring a future Collectivo event, also reach out to us at email@example.com.
Gracias y un abrazo. – The Collectivo Board
